Animal Magic Family Pet Retreat is an exclusive 5 star facility nestled in 2 acres of countryside, on the picturesque outskirts of the village of Oakworth. We host a comprehensive range of premium pet care services to suit all needs such as doggy day care, dog training, dog birthday parties, home boarding for cats, home boarding for small pets, home visits for pets, pet chauffeur service, regular training classes and dog and owner socialisation meets. Though rural, we run a weekday Pet Chauffeur service for our Doggy Day Play services - and are just 10 minutes from Keighley town centre, 20 minutes from Colne, 20 minutes from Skipton, 35 minutes from Burnley and 45 minutes from Clitheroe.

We are also building our very own animal sanctuary - providing a safe and comfortable home for pets who are unsuitable for rehoming - whether elderly, living with chronic health conditions or unpredictable behaviour. If we have space we will welcome any type of pet!

We adore animals and have a lifetime of experience both owning and working with them. You can place your trust in us to provide a safe, comfortable, fun, stimulating and healthy environment for your furry friend (or reptile!). Whether it’s providing veterinary services, doggy day care, home boarding, ensuring they let off some steam, coming by to feed them, or providing bespoke care packages, we go above and beyond to care for your pet as if he/she were our own.

If you are interested in our pet care services, please read the relevant information for your required service, then send a text message or email with details of your enquiry along with information about your pet (type, breed, age, sex, characteristics). Please note that we have limited availability for our dog services and do not take on dogs for day care or boarding who have not been neutered, unless they are under 6 months of age.
We aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours, though during busy periods this is not always possible so please bear with us! Please note that visits are by appointment only and with the exception of pre-booked veterinary appointments, cannot be arranged during Doggy Day Play hours.​

Our Perfect Pet Patisserie & Gifts officially opened in September 2021 - offering bespoke pet birthday creations, delightful delicacies and unique themed gift box subscriptions. All products are available to be collected, hand delivered within a 25 mile radius or posted to any UK address. Please ensure you select the appropriate delivery or collection option for your order at checkout and write any notes that you think may be applicable to your order in the field provided. We help pet owners in need through our Animal Magic Family Trust. Please get in touch if you would like to donate supplies or apply for assistance if you are experiencing financial concerns, illness, redundancy or homelessness and are struggling to care for your pet(s).

In January 2024 we officially rebranded as "Animal Magic Family Pet Retreat, Education & Activity Centre". We offer unique programmes for those who aspire to become pet care professionals aiming to launch their own dog walking, dog training, pet care, doggy day care or boarding service; along with animal care education classes for young children and teenagers.​

Our social enterprise, The Rainbow of Hearts Foundation is working towards launching Smile Club which will host a range of activities, social sessions, support groups and educational courses for all ages.
